Laziness vs. Diligence
One of the best Cross-Centered and Biblical
descriptions of diligence that I found was: viewing every
task as a special assignment from the LORD and using all
my energies to accomplish it. Isn't that right definition,
with a gospel perspective? I love it! Of course, I have to
be honest in that there is a reason why it took me us so long to
upload this series.......because I realized that as a mom, I
struggle with many of the same areas that I expect our boys to
recognize and surrender. Isn't that good though, that we
can embrace the same truth from the Lord whether we are parents
or a child, and that we have the same need for the Savior, who
is always there to give us grace! In light of this truth and
recognition of needed growth in my own life, I have included a
separate checklist for us moms---if you dare,
take
a peek and see if you can relate. :)
Check if it is true in your life today – otherwise, would others
say you are characterized by the statements below.
