Take some time to confess any sinful thoughts and/or actions to the Lord. 

Has God brought any other specific situations or people to mind that you may have sinned against?

Pray for restoration and confess your sins specifically both to the Lord and the people God has brought to mind. (It is important to note here that we should practice calling sin, SIN. Try not to use worldly terms to define sin.  Examples: joking vs. lying, interrupting vs. pride, and forgetfulness vs. diligence.)

How does the Gospel speak to my standing in Christ when I do not reflect Christ in this area? 

Thank the Lord for His kindness in bringing conviction to your life and for His forgiveness and acceptance.
